This peaceful hamlet of Gümüslük is one of the oldest settlements on the peninsula. Its modest restaurants, boarding houses and motels are going to stay the same because it has been reserved as an official archeological site and it is not by law allowed to add anything to alter the landscape or to do any excavations.

This arrangement has been made for the purpose of preserving the antique Myndos town most of which now has been submerged under the town of Gümüslük. The old Likian city of authentic Myndos is a couple of kilometers to the south.  

While Panorama Court is witnessing the blending the magnificent dusk and the horizon, the sun sets the most beautifully there indeed.
